How long does it take to make your soap?
When we make our soap it takes about 30 minutes to mix it to be ready to pour into the moulds. Then it sits in the moulds for about 6-8 hours to give it enough time to set before we cut it up and pack it away to cure for 6 weeks before it is ready to be sold.
Where does the goats milk come from?
The goats milk all comes straight from my herd of milking goats that I milk by hand.
Why we do what we do?
There are a few reasons that made me want to do this. I wanted to have a way to use some of the excess milk that I was getting from my herd. Another reason was I wanted to give people that suffer from skin conditions like me an opportunity to have access to an all natural product that will hopefully help their skin.
Why the name soapie goatie?
There is really not to much reason behind the name. I wanted something that was going to be catchy and easy enough for people to remember.
